Where it started (and how far we’ve come)

In 2006, founders Dr John Howie and John Davies launched their first product – a skin-and-coat oil called YuMEGA. Its success led to calls for a joint product and, later, to the discovery of our unique ActivEase® Green Lipped Mussel – the hero of our Joint Support range.

In 2011, a clinical study by the Royal Veterinary College in London proved YuMOVE made a difference to dogs’ mobility, and since then, there’s been no stopping us.

Today we're home to veterinary’s number one joint supplement * and we’re recommended by more of your peers than any other supplement brand.* We’ve expanded worldwide, earned multiple awards, achieved B Corp status and expanded our range to include digestion, dental and calming.

    Courtney is passionate about research and innovation that delivers genuine benefits to the lives and health of pets. She’s an experienced equine and small animal vet licensed in the UK and US, has a Zoology degree, and is a skilled animal health industry leader.

    Fran is a small animal vet with experience in general practice and emergency and critical care. She’s also helped design post graduate training courses for vets and nurses around the world.
