Most products in the YuMOVE Joint Care range come in a tablet or a bite/chew format. YuMOVE ADVANCE 360 Joint Care comes in a tablet and bite formulation. The bites contain the same active ingredients as our tablets, but come in a tasty bitesize treat often best for fussy dogs. Our YuMOVE Joint Care Cat products come in sprinkle capsules, that can be given as they are or opened and sprinkled onto food.

There are more fatty acids in our dog products because dogs are usually bigger than cats. The amounts of fatty acids are roughly equal on a by-weight basis.

There is more Vitamin E in our dog products because there are more Omegas, and the amount of Vitamin E is calculated by the amount of Omega-3 fatty acid in the product.

It is very uncommon that we hear dogs developing loose stools after swapping to YuMOVE ADVANCE 360 Joint Care from another YuMOVE Joint Care product. There is added purified fish oil in YuMOVE ADVANCE 360 Joint Care, which is a low-risk allergen for dogs, but there is a possibility that some dogs could have an allergy or intolerance to the fish oil. We recommend introducing a new product slowly for dogs with sensitive stomachs.

The only difference in the active ingredients is that YuMOVE Joint Care products for cats have no added Vitamin C. More generally, our Joint Care products for cats also contain no added phosphorus.

There are no known contraindications to using YuMOVE in cases with kidney disease - apart from considering the supplement inline with the pet's diet. Our YuMOVE Joint Care Cat capsules contain no added phosphorus so are a lowest phosphorus option .

We have had no serious reports of over consumption of the any YuMOVE ADVANCE 360 Joint Care products. There is a possibility of gastrointestinal signs. In pets with pre-existing conditions this should be considered in line with whether inducing emesis might be appropriate.

There are no known contraindications to using YuMOVE in patients with hyperthyroidism and/or on medication to control hyperthyroidism, and we have had no reports of concern. However this is not something we have specifically investigated. As a precaution we do not currently advise using YuMOVE for Cats for hyperthyroid cats on Hills Y/D diet.

No, the products can all be given with food, but are safe to administer on there own and often they will be taken as a treat. However, with our oil and powder based products we do recommend to mix with food, to make administration as easy as possible. We also recommend opening the cat capsules and sprinkling them, but these can also be fed within the capsules, depending on the cats preference.
